Delicate, Antique "Shard" Porcelain Pendants
These one of a kind pendants, created from antique porcelain pottery shards, get snapped up whenever I have them. On the left, a man doing Tai-chi, 1.5" wide. Middle, an older gent with a parasol at the river. Right, a young man in traditional scholars' clothing, 1.75" high. Each shard is set into a sterling bezel and has a loop for your fine silk cord. What can I say? These are stunning natural coral pieces, thicker than the frangi. Did you know
that global warming is causing coral beds to disintegrate. Soon there will be very little of this

Beautiful turquoise flat rough pieces
I really love the rough, varied shapes of these flat chinese turquoise beads. They are natural
turquoise that has been stabilized, not dyed, so they are pretty close to the pickaxe.
Sizes vary but the smallest is about an inch long and the largest is about 1.5 inches long. Each side
shows different markings and there is a nice dollop of copper on some of them (turquoise
is composed in part of copper silicate). Smoothly polished. Flat turquoise rough, $50 per strand of 12 pieces, sample of 4

Repeat of Opalite faceted drops
You really liked these opalites -- they are glass but look very opal-ish. For a while I could not find them!

Charming Primitive Wood Carvings
These charming carvings have a bit of a primitive look. They are about 2 - 2.5 inches high, and are drilled top to bottom for easy attaching to a cord. Primitive flavor Raku bead/Pendant

Every one of these high quality, well made components will lift your designs out of the ordinary into the very special. Most are a very delicate size, 25mm high and about 18mm wide. The larger rectangle, "bloom", is 30mm x 24mm. Each one has 2 sets of loops on the back for double stringing. You can also string them with one strand. The loops don't show to the front. The surfaces are nicely textured and the colors are superb, accented by Swarovski crystals to match. Above is an extreme closeup of the purple daisy enlarged many times, so you can see the excellent detail and fine workmanship on these components. I can think of many ways to add them to beads or pendants strands. The colors are pure and true and the detailing is fine. (The lighter streaks are reflections from the cellophane wrappers.) Gold Pendant Antique Inca Find NOT FOR SALE
This is a priceless gold pendant from a Peruvian dig, it was made ca. 900-1100 A.D. and
comes from the Sican culture which was older than the Inca civilization. It is about 5" square.
We are showing it because KJL was inspired by it or something like it to create the next piece.
(I do not own this piece it is in a museum along with the other artifacts that were discovered at the site.)
Gold Pendant by Kenneth Jay Lane
Here is a one of a kind primitive style pendant created by KJL in the 1980s. It is 3-dimensional; you can add it to a scarf, a strand of beads, silk cord, etc. I show it with a silk organza scarf drawn through the loop at the top. The expression on his face is amazing. I would also use the spiny oyster or variscite beads as a accompaniment since they have the wonderful "rough" cut look you want to balance the complexity and interest of this pendant. Old Chinese Amber Beads

Drusy Quartz or Chalcedony, Beautiful Design Idea
Drusy is the name for the formation of tiny quartz crystals on the surface of or within another stone or mineral. When ground water carrying dissolved silica is forced into a porous area of the rock, rapid cooling often occurs, causing the formation of tiny crystals on the surfaces or in cavities of the rock. The clear crystals often form on top of previously deposited minerals. This is called a drusy. Some minerals found in this form are chalcedony, chrysocolla, malachite, ocean jasper, lapis. The surface of every pendant piece is covered with tiny effervescing crystals, very difficult to capture the liveliness and sparkle in a photo. Here are our new colors.
The white drusy is the finest gem quality drusy I have seen. The pieces are very large and sparkly averaging an inch to 1.5" and NATURAL not dyed. The backs are very smooth white like moonstone. white drusy strand, $95.00 each.

Supreme Gaspeite Necklace
One of a kind gaspeite jawdropper! This is a very fine design made of
"wavy" slices of gaspeite with excellent green color and interesting inclusions. The weight is 150 grams.
The size of the center large pieces is 18mm, graduating down to 10mm at the ends. It is
getting very hard to find bright green gaspeite, the Australian mines are tapped out. This is
