Pearlized glass beads from the Czech Republic are great values because of the high quality and tremendous variety in colors, sizes, shapes, and finishes. Yet prices are reasonable, starting at 3 cents a bead! We've added a few styles we think look especially good with glass pearls.
Czech beads conform to industry standards for colors and sizes. Many of the beads on this page are mass-produced, but don't look it!
Because Czech glass bead output is high and consistent, you can get quantity discounts that are not possible with limited production beads like Venetian or hand made lampwork.
A Word About Measurements
We give bead measurements in mm (millimeters). One inch = 25 mm. So a 12mm bead is about a half inch. We try to show beads at their actual size, but your monitor may show them larger or smaller. So please take note of the sizes we indicate--as well as all the other details we provide.

Pretty "Pearl" Beads
Our high quality glass pearls are dipped not sprayed. This means they have a far more even, thick, rich looking finish that won't chip off. Careful with glue --test your glue on a bead before using it. Sometimes the chemicals in certain glues can damage the pearl coating.

| The photos above show a lovely rose piece (Czech - hand finished) that you can use as a pendant (hole at top). The detail is truly magnificent, and the finish is a wonderful frosted translucent glass, with a flat back finished in antique gold. Imagine the earring or necklace you could create using this rose as a pendant! The carving of the rose petals is three dimensional and has depth.
