Beautiful Cubic Zirconia Faceted Drops
I could not believe these when I found them! As you know, cubic zirconia (or CZ) is a not a gemstone
but it does have a Mohs hardness of 8.5 (diamond is 10, chalcedony is 7) which makes it ideal for facetting and as a diamond lookalike in its
colorless form. These drops are brilliantly colored by a very sophisticated process and
are indistinguishable from their real stone counterparts. I liked the amethyst, garnet,
and lemon quartz colors. One would never know they are not the real thing! (like with pink or blue cz)
The garnet actually has some of the mysterious orange highlights of
gem Orissa garnet. Size of the drop is 39 x 9mm, and you can assort colors, just let me know on the cart page.

NEW--Precious Pink Ruby briolettes!
These are truly precious and beautiful pink ruby faceted briolettes. The color is marvelous, a deep rose pink. These are also called pink sapphire but they are actually a gem ruby that is a lighter pink. Finely faceted and the quality is superb--jewelers' grade! Ruby Rough and Polished--Do you Love Red?
Here's a great way to get a pocketful of rubies! These are rough stones, that is not faceted, but they have been nicely polished and there are a lot of them in each package. First photo, 829 carats, 48 pieces ranging from 28x12mm to 22x10mm. Next photo, 506 carats, 49 pieces sized from 17x15mm to somewhat larger. Next photo, 362 carats, 61 pieces, sized about 15x9mm. The shapes are irregular and each drop seems to be an original. The color is a rich violet red with some lighter or darker inclusions. Ruby rough, 75 cents per carat.
NEW--Very Hard to Find, Pink Tourmaline Faceted Drops
I always search for pink tourmaline since it is my favorite gem. These briolettes are really special. The color is fantastic, a wonderful deep rose pink, and they have so much life & sparkle! They are tiny though. Size is about 4x4mm and you get a lot of pieces on the 8" strand--about 10 drops per inch. These are the best quality faceted tourmaline I have seen, especially the color. Frosted Gold Chalcedony
Very serious chalcedony in a rich "frosted" sun-gold color. Each drop is faceted and the colors on the strand vary from pale yellow to a rich golden hue. Size of each drop about 12x10mm. About 45-46 drops in the package. Gold chalcedony, $120.00 for 45 pieces.
Dramatic Carved Tourmaline Fans
I only like pink tourmaline so I was happy to find these pink carved fan shapes in tourmaline. They are fabulous, resembling pieces I have seen on jewelry from ancient civilizations. The largest one is 27x27mm, quite a nice size for a centerpiece. The strand has 19 chunky pieces. Where else would you find such unusual beads! There is some damage to some of the peices which has been taken into account in the low prices. Carved tourmaline fans, $140.00.
Repeat of Opalite faceted drops
You really liked these opalites -- they are glass but look very opal-ish. For a while I could not find them!

Drusy Quartz or Chalcedony, Beautiful Design Idea
Drusy is the name for the formation of tiny quartz crystals on the surface of or within another stone or mineral. When ground water carrying dissolved silica is forced into a porous area of the rock, rapid cooling often occurs, causing the formation of tiny crystals on the surfaces or in cavities of the rock. The clear crystals often form on top of previously deposited minerals. This is called a drusy. Some minerals found in this form are chalcedony, chrysocolla, malachite, ocean jasper, lapis. The surface of every pendant piece is covered with tiny effervescing crystals, very difficult to capture the liveliness and sparkle in a photo. Here are our new colors.
The white drusy is the finest gem quality drusy I have seen. The pieces are very large and sparkly averaging an inch to 1.5" and NATURAL not dyed. The backs are very smooth white like moonstone. white drusy strand, $95.00 each.

The "coffee"-color drusy strand has 9 pieces. Colors vary from pure crystal sparkles to a delicate bluish crystal. The backs are really coffee colored (latte, etc), polished smooth. using 2 strands of Beadalon and double daisy spacers. This technique makes the
drops lie flat next to each other when you wear the bracelet.

Blue Topaz Beads!

Wow! These are spectacular intense blue "topaz" (quartz) gem beads. If they were really Swiss blue topaz they would
be priced at $600.00 per strand or more. But these are a fabulous fake and worth the price. I scoured the
markets and could not find anything that was this beautiful for the price.

Not sapphire, but a very similar true blue color.

NEW BEADS--Sardonyx
Sardonyx is a new gemstone for us. These are really quite lovely. Pitch black with random white and
pale gray stripes, and nicely faceted to add interest. (No orange--that is light reflecting off the polished surface.)
The smaller drops are 20mm x 15mm, finely faceted, with a high polish, and totally unique. The large focus pieces are
50x40mm (2 inches long). I can see this stone with some of our bright red coral beads!

NEW ITEM--Wild & Fascinating Colors of Agate Beads
Wow! I could not believe the intense, bright, and unique colors of these agate beads.
This is what heat treating can do! Heat treating doesnt harm the gem and is permanent.
I'm so glad someone tried this with agate! THe long ovals are 42mm x 14mm, a size you
seem to like a lot. It's historically accurate since many beads discovered in archeological excavations
have this long oval shape. The sterling centerpiece with the dangles seems to
make the pendant beads "float". The smaller ones are 25mm x 10mm, colors a bit softer.

Ocean Jasper Shapes
Here are some oval pieces of ocean jasper with drusy--sparkly crystals growing
right out of the bead! The crystals match the
color of the back of the bead which is polished and has typical dots, stripes, waves, etc. The beads are like tiny geodes.
A one of a kind item. About 15mm x 12mm x 8mm thick. The photo doesn't really show the depth and
unique appearance of these beads, and of course you need to hold them to enjoy the smooth/rough texture.

You can't find this rich, intense red color in any other natural gem. And these are 100% natural. They have
been very carefully cut for uniformity and to show off the wonderful colors of the stone.

mention it is not easy to find such plump drops in ruby as Mother Nature does not

These are extremely well made (by hand) sterling silver clasps with either an amethyst or a peridot
stone set in the middle, surrounded by rope twist and granulated trim. Note that they have a soldered ring on each side to which you attach your
