Our wonderful hand enameled sterling beads from India are splendid in this necklace. The bright blue pyramidal shape bead is truly original. The colors of these beads are deep and pure. The beads are on the Metal page in the sterling dept.

Chunky Necklace with Aventurine

Here is a pretty gemstone arrangement using 6mm aventurine and part of our unique museum strand of assorted gem nuggets. The museum strand can be seen on the Nuggets page.

	Superb quality iridescent nacre highlights these delicious chiclet shaped pearls. We paired them with pure sky blue amazonite drops.
	What a wonderful jewel this is. Three strands of gorgeous pearls and gem beads.

	This composition speaks volumes about the many-thousand dollar look for fractional dollars. Why dream when you can do?
	Yes, you can twist a smaller strand around a larger one and they don't "unravel". The large scarab is Egyptian faience, sorry we no longer have any, but you can see how pretty the turquoise goes with the Italian millefiore. This necklace grabs stares from everyone when I wear it!

	This lovely necklace is one of our best selling styles, you can see why! Very feminine and delicate. The rose quartz openwork "almonds" contrast well with the gaspeite and darker rose lampwork beads. You can assemble this piece with metal wire or strong (waxed) thread.
	The large silver centerpiece has the longevity symbol. The jade beads bring good luck.

Easy to assemble, very rich looking carnelian and sterling detailed beads.

	The wonderful large center flower is no longer available, but the smaller beads are.
	Many of our customers made their own variations of this stunning necklace. The pendant is a vintage glass floral design that was made in Czechoslovakia after WWII.

	Ideas to do with long shaped pendant type beads.
	The jade lily bead in this necklace is one of our best sellers. We combined it with garnet and rhodochrosite.

	The right color combos really sing! The beautiful murano glass bead has a bit of pure jade green that doubles with the gem jade pendant.
	Lavender freshwater pearls look stunning with sterling accents. We added a cute silver alligator charm. The round sterling beads are completely covered with fine granules of silver, very exacting work.

	Here you see a vintage clasp by Kenneth Jay Lane, one of a kind gold inlaid with pave rhinestones, combined with his chunky faux BIWA pearls in a stunning couture piece.
	Lovely aquamarine nuggets with a detailed cast goldtone spacer that has 2 holes. The vintage gold spacers are by Kenneth Jay Lane, and we have a few left but that's it!

	LOVE these colors together. The design looks difficult but once you get going it is really quite simple to do.

	This lovely necklace is a graceful combination of traditional partners, carnelian, turquoise, and sterling silver.

	Beautiful way to incorporate small Czech beads with the bronze coin finding. Looks like garnet, yes?
	Topaz glass goes well with bronze. The (glass) beads look just like gem amber!

	One of my very favorite styles now, the range of colors and reflections goes with everything. This would sell for many $100s in a high end jewelry dept.
	Lively combinations of a variety of beads that have special meaning are called "treasure necklaces".

	Looking for an antique-y Turkish or Near Eastern look--this one is pretty authentic. We made the tiny gold wire loops that keep the coin drops from sliding around on the leather cord. This style is so much fun to wear & you can have several in a range of colors.
	This looks time consuming but actually goes quite fast. We have complete instructions for making this dramatic "retro" or Victorian style.

	Kenneth Jay Lane had the large faux jade beads made for his company in Japan in the 1980s. So far as we know, we are the only place to get these wonderful glass "jades" and the color is the most sought after.
	If you don't have some of these great hand made wood beads from Australia you are missing out. The sheer variety of shapes and colors is astounding.

	Murano collectible glass at its colorful, joyous best.
	This shows our best selling Murano flower inlay beads in a bracelet. I don't really know how many customers have made this or ones like it--a lot.

	Honey bee bead is a wonderful design in cast pewter with a very realistic look. The designer must have shaped the bead while studying a real bee! The antennae are flexible.
